We started early, rallying the troops:
The merry guys from OpenBazaar kept teasing us...This #SuperTuesday only one candidate stands for #freetrade: @OpenBazaar! Let's make trade free again! pic.twitter.com/UyMQh7twRH— OpenBazaar News (@openbazaarnews) March 1, 2016

Finally, the long awaited announcement arrived !!!!
Words of praise and encouragement start coming in...
As beautiful stores start popping up, we enjoy the nice display of creativity, and , most importantly, the fact that everyone is playing nicely, as responsible netizens. ...
Even The Drumpf joins the party!
The OpenBazaar platform works as advertised and transactions are processed without hiccups. The escrow service is superb!
Towards the end of the week we witnessed the first OpenBazaar transactions, with real Bitcoins on the mainnet. Pins and Red Bull were the first items exchanged for Bitcoin on the OpenBazaar platform.
So far, most issues reported have to do with handshake between server and client at startup. We also heard complains about transactions that are left hanging and visibility lost when users go offline. We expect these issues will be addressed in subsequent upgrades. An upgrade (V 1.0.7 was just released on Thursday).
Also, OB developers and a group of great supporters are ready to help troubleshoot at Openbazaar slack: (https://openbazaar.slack.com)
Overall, we can chalk this one as a BIG success and a game changer for Bitcoin. Congratulations to the OpenBazaar team, contributors and supporters!

See you next week!
